Dick, Kenneth W. Scrapbook, 1900 - 1903
This scrapbook contains a variety of documents relating to Kenneth W. Dick's time attending the Lawrenceville School from 1900-1903. Included are theater tickets, checks, permits, handwritten, typed and telegraphed correspondence, and photographs of students and residence houses. Additional materials include a Lawrenceville School register, a 1900-1901 Lawrenceville handbook, and library rules.
Albert Raymond Evans Papers
While the Albert Raymond Evans Papers contain information covering the years 1882-1971, most of the documents date from the Head Master Heely years through through his death in 1972. The Evans papers include his business correspondence and notes on management; school financial records and statistics; records regarding the trustees, faculty, alumni; and various phases of the school's academic and social life.
Library Records
The Library Records document the history of the library of The Lawrenceville School. Included here are documents on the buildings that have housed the library, the services offered, past outreach programs and initiatives, and library personnel. Items of note included plans for the 1960 expansion of the John Dixon Library and documents related to the numerous outreach and reading encouragement programs.
Gerrish Thurber Papers
The Gerrish Thurber Papers consist largely of correspondence created during Thurber's tenure as librarian and reflect the day-to-day activities conducted during the course of library business. Items of note include correspondence between Thurber and librarians from other secondary schools and colleges and universities. Also included are materials documenting the history of major gifts to library and the John Dixon Library building.
