Scope and Contents From the Collection:

The bulk of the P.C. Norris World War I Collection consists of correspondence to and from Lawrenceville alumni serving in World War I. The correspondents include many notable Lawrentians of the period. The men often wrote about the experience of being away from home and in combat. Other items include photographs, newspaper clippings, and wedding announcements. The bulk of the documents date from immediately before the war to shortly after armistice.

Scope and Contents

Contains 2 copies of a typewritten 8 page letter from Norris to "Lawrenceville friends". The letter consists of updates about the record heat, an updated "Honor Roll" (a list of Lawrenceville alumni killed while in the service), and updates about the lives of Lawrenceville alumni in the service.
