Scope and Contents
The bulk of the Ceremonies Collection consists of a near-complete run of commencement programs. Commencement programs typically include a list of the graduating class and the names of the speakers including the valedictorian and guests. The Series 1 also contains commencement concert and baccalaureate service programs, invitations, and itineraries outlining commencement weekend events, Valedictoria addresses, and Aurelian Speeches. Convocation programs have also traditionally been housed with commencement material. Also included are documents pertaining to other ceremonies on campus including building dedications and award dinners.
