This collection consists of documents related to the four Mini-Committees created in 1976, the Student Government Committee, the Human Development Committee, the Community Life Committee, and the Conservation Awareness Committee. The collection includes items such as newspaper articles on the establishment of the committees and the committee's final reports.

Biographical / Historical

The four mini-committees, the Student Government Committee, the Human Development Committee, the Community Life Committee, and the Conservation Awareness Committee, were created in November 1976 by Head Master Bruce McClellan to examine major area of concern for the school. These committees were focused on solving very specific issues unlike the more board issues the other school committees were looking at the time. The Committees were headed by faculty members and had both faculty and students serving on them. All four committees released reports in 1977 with their findings and recommendations.
