Scope and Contents

From the Series:

The bulk of the Photos of Sean Flynn series includes prints and negatives of his work as a photo journalist in Vietnam during the Vietnam War. Items of note include images of the daily struggles of the Vietnamese, American soldiers boxing during down time, photos featuring active combat and both wounded civilians and soldiers. Other items of note include a small run of photos documenting the Six-Day Way. These images depict soldiers moving armaments and soldiers surrendering.

This collection is open for research use. Due to the graphic nature of some of the photographs, material may be reviewed and vetted by the Archivist prior to delivery to the researcher.
