The bulk of Subject Files series consists of files maintained by Evans while he was treasurer and business manager. This series documents the financial history of the school in the first half of the 20th century. Documents pertain to physical improvements, building expansion and remodeling, fund raising, and special or ceremonial events. Documents of interest include those detailing the physical changes that need to be made to implement the Harkness Plan. Other items of note include material created after Evans' retirement that document his work to preserve school history.
