Biography
In 1828 Hannah married Charles Nassau, D.D. (b.1804, d. 1878). Together they had eleven children, ten of who grew to maturity; Rev Joseph Nassau, D.D.; Isabella A. Nassau; Rev. Robert Hamill Nassau, M.D., S.T.D; William W. Nassau, M.D.; Hannah Nassau (wife of Hon. Edward Wells); Letitia Nassau (wife of Rev. A. Gosman, D.D.); Matilda Hamill Nassau (wife of J.R. Lowrie, Esq.); Chas W. Nassau, Esq.; Emma Nassau (wife of Rev. William Swan); and Mary Elizabeth Nassau.

The bulk of the Lawrenceville Female Seminary Collection consists of documents created during the course of seminary business. These documents include catalogs, correspondence with Mrs. Jane Barlow Porter Condit's family, and announcements of seminary events. Also included is a memorial for Rev.
