In 1828 Hannah married Charles Nassau, D.D. (b.1804, d. 1878). Together they had eleven children, ten of who grew to maturity; Rev Joseph Nassau, D.D.; Isabella A. Nassau; Rev. Robert Hamill Nassau, M.D., S.T.D; William W. Nassau, M.D.; Hannah Nassau (wife of Hon. Edward Wells); Letitia Nassau (wife of Rev. A. Gosman, D.D.); Matilda Hamill Nassau (wife of J.R. Lowrie, Esq.); Chas W. Nassau, Esq.; Emma Nassau (wife of Rev. William Swan); and Mary Elizabeth Nassau.

Scope and Contents From the Collection: The bulk of the Lawrenceville Female Seminary Collection consists of documents created during the course of seminary business.
