Biographical / Historical
The Office of Information Technology Services department (ITS) supports and maintains the school's information technology. This includes the school's computers, telephones, and the programs and networks they run on. ITS was created in 1995 to assist with the rapidly expanding use of electronic resources. Before the creation of ITS there was no centralized department for electronic resources, but computers were still used by select departments. In the 1980s Lawrenceville created its own school record keeping computer program called Academic Management Systems. Dr. Wade C. Stephens was the Director of development for the project. The program worked so well it was even sold to other schools to help with their record-keeping needs.
The Collection is arranged alphabetically with the exception of Series 1 which follows original order as received.
