This collection contains items collected by Thomas L Hartshorn, and his father C. Burton Hartshorn during Thomas’ time at Lawrenceville School 1945-1949. A large part of the collection are Fundraising items sent to C. Burton Hartshorn soliciting funds for the Campus Development Fund as well as the Fathers Association. Also included are items relating to Thomas L. Hartshorn such as his Numerals Award Certificate, newpaper clippings, and event programs.
Scope and Contents Thomas Lewis Hartshorn was born in Poughkeepsie, New York on December 17, 1930. He came to Lawrenceville in 1945 and graduated in 1949. At Lawrenceville Thomas participated in many sports but excelled in Baseball where he earned in Numerals and Wrestling where he earned a Minor and Major L. He was also a good student earning Mid-Year Honors Averages in 1949. After Leaving Lawrenceville, he attended Dartmouth University. Thomas' Father was C. Burton Hartshorn, born around 1896, He owned the Poughkeepsie Buick Company.

All items were donated to the Stephan archives by Sue Hartshorn
Much of this collection are copies of original documents. The original documents were contaminated with mold and other contaminates and it was not possible to clean them. Digitial copies of the original were made and can be found on the flash drive at the end of the collection.
